Position Summary: Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator Trainee to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in transportation, heavy equipment, logistics, or operations management. Through hands-on training and mentorship, you'll gain valuable industry experience while supporting the safe and efficient movement of specialized equipment across the country.
Job-Type: Full-Time
Location: This is a fully onsite position located in Memphis, TN. Remote and hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transportation logistics for Barnhart's fleet of cranes, forklifts, hoists, gantries, and other specialized equipment
- Assist with load planning, scheduling, and shipment coordination
- Learn and apply federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Utilize logistics and transportation management software to support daily operations
- Communicate with drivers, internal teams, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
- Support project execution through detailed planning and coordination
- Develop a strong understanding of the heavy-haul transportation and crane industry
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort learning new software
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
