Barnett’s Garage, a trusted name in automotive repair in Spartanburg for over 60 years, is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Salesperson / Service Advisor Hybrid to join our team. About the RoleThis unique position blends customer service, sales, and repair order management. You’ll act as the first point of contact for customers, manage service workflow, and help generate revenue by bringing in and overseeing repair jobs. You’ll also have the opportunity to increase your earnings through performance-based commissions and by securing new fleet accounts.
Compensation & Benefits- Starting Pay: $10/hour base
- Commission: Earn a percentage of billable hours for every repair order you land and manage
- Fleet Account Bonus: Additional earnings for securing and managing new fleet service accounts
- Opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses
- Greet customers and assess their service needs professionally
- Generate accurate and detailed repair orders
- Recommend and upsell maintenance and repair services
- Communicate clearly with technicians and customers throughout the repair process
- Develop and maintain relationships with both individual and fleet clients
- Contribute to business development through outreach and local networking
- Previous experience in automotive service, sales, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized and capable of managing multiple repair orders simultaneously
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems is a plus, but not required
