Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical activity, and creative play to stimulate children's development.
• Provide attentive toddler care and preschool instruction, ensuring each child's individual needs are met through tailored activities and support.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques to create a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong home-school connections.
• Maintain detailed documentation of child development progress, lesson plans, and classroom activities in compliance with childcare standards.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently by adhering to first aid and CPR guidelines, mandated reporting laws, and health regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, classroom management strategies, and early intervention initiatives to enhance educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is required.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles, special education needs, and early intervention strategies is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills along with experience in behavior management techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and team collaboration.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred or must be obtained upon hire.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures, tutoring methods, and teaching physical education for young children is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for child welfare, early childhood education, and fostering a positive learning environment is essential.
