What You'll Do- Assist patients in selecting frames that fit their lifestyle, prescription, and personal style.
- Educate patients on lens options, coatings, specialty lenses, and second-pair solutions.
- Confidently recommend products that improve patients' vision, comfort, and everyday life.
- Build trust with patients through personalized recommendations rather than high-pressure sales.
- Take accurate frame and lens measurements.
- Adjust, repair, and troubleshoot eyewear.
- Verify prescriptions and ensure quality before dispensing.
- Process orders and communicate with optical laboratories.
- Deliver an exceptional patient experience from start to finish.

Our In-House Finishing LabOne of the things that sets Barnes Vision apart is our on-site finishing lab. This allows us to edge many lenses in-house, complete same-day services when possible, perform quality control, and provide faster turnaround times for our patients. If you enjoy the technical side of optical, you'll have the opportunity to develop hands-on lab skills that many practices no longer offer.

- Passionate about helping patients look and see their best
- Previous optical experience preferred but not required
- ABO certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Experience with frame styling, lens measurements, adjustments, and optical sales is preferred
- Mechanical aptitude or finishing lab experience is a bonus
