What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plasma Masker | 3rd Shift +Sign-on Bonus position at Barnes Group?
Position Details:
Pay rate 17% Shift Differential
Shift: Mon - Fri 10:30pm-7:00 am
Must be able to train on 1st and/or 2nd shift.
Your Expertise:
- 1 year experience in an aerospace environment preferred
- Previous masking experience is a plus
- Skills Desired: Excellent attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills
- Ability to read and interpret operation sheets, blueprints and technical data
Your Challenge:
- Interpret and follow operation sheets, engine manuals, and blueprints to determine information required to properly mask an aerospace component for plasma coating.
- Ensure use of proper fixtures and tools; maintain masking tape inventory levels required to meet production goals. Requisition materials and tooling as required
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.
