What You'll Do

Prepare ingredients and use equipment to turn kelp into delicious, everyday foods

• Learn every day. We are a small and growing team, how we operate changes frequently
• Work efficiently with a keen attention to detail and follow established processes
• Carefully weigh, record, and assemble products following detailed procedures
• Collaborate with others to clean and sanitize the processing area, dishes, and equipment
• Work on the production line - filling, inspecting and boxing jars
• Complete training to meet Alaska food handling requirements within 30 days of employment
• Inspect glass jars to identify food safety hazards
• Maintain safety protocols with particular attention to machinery and electrical equipment
  
  

Pack and fulfill orders from Barnacles customers located all over the country

• Package products following established protocols
• Neatly and efficiently fulfill orders, paying close attention to quality and accuracy

• Maintain a strict level of personal and workplace hygiene
• Comply with food safety protocols for food processors
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on feet all day
