Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Concrete Construction Estimator to join our team and drive the success of our commercial concrete projects. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project estimates, managing cost analysis, and collaborating closely with clients, project managers, and suppliers. Your expertise will help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Review and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to accurately estimate material requirements and project costs.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis including material costs, labor estimates, equipment needs, and subcontractor pricing to create comprehensive budgets.
- Manage project estimates from initial concept through final bid submission, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Review contracts, manage change orders, and ensure all estimates align with contractual obligations and project scope.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately to estimate quantities and identify potential issues early in the planning process.
- Maintain clear communication with clients regarding project scope, pricing adjustments, and timeline expectations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, construction drawing review, and interpreting technical specifications.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Experience managing projects as a construction estimator within the commercial concrete sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to review construction drawings thoroughly to estimate material requirements accurately from blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction estimating best practices for budgeting, pricing strategies, and cost control measures.

Pay: $63,531.25 - $76,510.75 per year
