Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in guest relations, have good communication skills, and know how to prioritize various tasks. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests, and ensuring a smooth flow of seating and service.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage waitlists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area
- Assist with guest inquiries about menu items or restaurant policies
- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a host (or in food service in general) is preferred
- Good customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Good communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor with good phone etiquette
- Willingness to learn is essential
