Pet Bather

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to pets, ensuring they are clean, comfortable, and well-cared for. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and a strong understanding of pet care practices. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to handle various breeds and temperaments.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and groom pets according to their specific needs and breed standards.
• Ensure pets are comfortable during grooming sessions, providing reassurance as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bathing area and grooming tools, adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor pets for any signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming.
• Assist with drying, brushing, and styling pets post-bath to achieve desired looks.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observations made during the process.
• Handle animals safely using appropriate restraint techniques when necessary.

Skills

• Experience in veterinary care or pet care is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of animal handling techniques, including animal restraint and dog handling skills.
• Familiarity with pet grooming practices and tools is beneficial.
• Ability to work with various dogs.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with pet owners and team members.
• Patience and empathy towards animals, ensuring a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
