Responsibilities
- Prepare dogs for grooming taking direction from groomers
- Bathe dogs and provide other cleaning and grooming services such as ear and teeth cleaning
- Adhere to strict sanitary and cleaning procedures
- Ensure the safety of the dogs at all times
- Clean kennels or grooming areas, as required
Qualifications
- Must be 18 or older and able to work 8 hour days
- Must be able to work Thursday and Saturday if part time and Tuesday - Saturday if full time
- Reliable - must have own transporation and be able to commute to the store
- Comfortable working with all breeds of dogs
- Ability to stand for long periods and abilty to work with large dogs
- Attention to detail, ability to work in fast paced environment with pets
- Team player
- Able to communicate effectively with coworkers and dog owners
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA and have all paperwork available
