What You’ll Do

As a Kennel Technician, you’ll be hands-on in creating the best possible experience for our furry guests:

• Feed, water, and provide daily care for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
• Supervise group play in our outdoor play yards.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, play yards, and equipment.
• Administer medications as directed by owners or vets.
• Observe dog behavior and report concerns to management.
• Interact with pet parents in a friendly, professional manner.
• Assist with baths, enrichment activities, and training support when needed.
• Follow all safety, health, and company procedures.

• Hard Worker – You’re not afraid of cleaning, lifting (40 lbs), or working outdoors in all weather.

• Detail-Oriented – You notice things others miss and take pride in doing tasks thoroughly.
• Flexible – You’re available on weekends and holidays when our guests need us most.
• Bonus: Prior kennel, vet, grooming, or dog training experience.

This Job Isn’t For You If…

• You’re uncomfortable with cleaning (yes, poop patrol is part of the job).
• You dislike working outdoors or being physically active.
• You can’t handle a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

• What would you do if a dog was very anxious with you? They are backed into the corner of their suite and maybe growling.
• If you are introducing new dogs to a playgroup, what kind of body language are you looking for that tells you the dog is a match for that group?
• We are currently looking for someone to fill weekend mornings 6:30am-1pm and evenings Thursday-Monday 1pm-7pm. Which shifts would you prefer?
