Part-Time Dental Hygienist – Maternity Leave Coverage
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our team on a temporary, part-time basis while our hygienist is on maternity leave.
This position will provide coverage from January through May 2027, with a consistent schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care
- Perform dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and oral cancer screenings
- Take necessary radiographs and document patient findings
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
- Build positive relationships with patients and the dental team
- Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and practice protocols
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygiene license in WA
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Dependable, organized, and compassionate
- Comfortable working independently while being a collaborative team member
- Previous dental office experience preferred
