Duties
- Supervise and interact with dogs during playtime and rest periods to promote positive social behavior
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs by monitoring interactions and intervening when necessary using proper techniques
- Assist with basic dog training activities to encourage good manners and obedience
- Maintain cleanliness of the facility, including kennels and play areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ day and addressing any concerns
Requirements
- Previous experience in dog handling, kennel work, or pet sitting is highly preferred, but not necessary!
- Excellent customer service skills to engage with pet owners professionally and compassionately
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when required
