About The Role
The Financial Operations Analyst will be part of the Property Operations support team providing analysis and insights that help guide key business decisions. This role will also work closely with our Development, Accounting, and Property Operations teams and reports directly to the President, Roundhouse Communities, while occasionally supporting Roundhouse Group leadership. The position is based in Boise, Idaho, and could require light local and overnight travel in support of the Company’s assets.

About The Role
The Financial Operations Analyst will be part of the Property Operations support team providing analysis and insights that help guide key business decisions. The position is based in Boise, Idaho, and could require light local and overnight travel in support of the Company’s assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting on the operating portfolio, including existing, new and potential acquisitions.
- Create, maintain and evaluate financial and statistical models used to support operational decisions
- Review and analyze revenue and expense trends and provide analytical support as needed.
- Work with the field teams to assist with budget preparation by providing analytical support and review for accuracy and completeness.
- Research and prepare reports on market and economic/demographic data.
- Provide support as necessary in preparing monthly rolling forecasts, the annual budget process, miscellaneous ad hoc analysis and business analysis representation in monthly operations meetings.
- Monitor Operational KPI’s and recommend potential actions for solution.
- Analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to maximize revenue performance.
- Perform rental audits, analyze competitor’s rates and provide reports to Investment Management Team.
- Provide input into budgeting and forecasting process, including assisting in developing specific revenue management initiatives
- Conduct market research and oversee the maintenance of historical pricing data.
- Develop and implement analytical key performance indicators and make recommendations to drive business results.
- Represent Roundhouse in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Perform all other duties as directed and assist the overall team effort in any way possible.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience (including relevant internships) in real estate finance, multifamily asset management/revenue management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with real estate databases (CoStar, RealPage) is a plus.
- The ability to innovate and think creatively.
- Self-starter working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere.
