Our Award-winning Pet Salon is now seeking someone who is passionate

about pets, ready to learn, and not afraid to get wet!

We are seeking an experienced Groomer (FT or PT) to join our team at Bark Side Pet Grooming, LLC, in Valdese, NC. The ideal candidate will have compassion for animals, outstanding customer service, and be able to work on their feet for the majority of their shift. We are looking for people with previous grooming experience who know how to handle dogs of different sizes and temperaments, as well as having a familiarity with the needs for different breeds and coats.

Responsibilities

- Performing breed-specific grooming services, as well as customized grooming styles as per the client's preferences.

- Bathing, brushing, and blow-drying dogs with utmost care and attention to detail.

- Nail trimming, ear cleaning, and oral hygiene maintenance.

- Assessing the overall health and condition of dogs and promptly reporting any concerns to the owner or manager.

- Handling dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments with patience, compassion, and professionalism.

- Maintaining a clean and organized grooming station and assisting in all salon cleaning responsibilities.

- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients through excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Staying current with industry trends and grooming techniques.

Experience Needed:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional dog grooming experience.

- Certification from a recognized grooming school is highly recommended.

- Proficiency in various grooming techniques and styles.

- Excellent knowledge of dog breeds and their specific grooming needs.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to handle dogs safely and effectively.

- A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their well-being.

- Punctuality, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

- Portfolio of examples required

- Paid working interview required

Pay: $400.00 - $1,000.00 per week
