Marketing & Client Engagement Specialist
Purpose of the Role
The Marketing & Client Engagement Specialist is responsible for helping Bark Camp grow by creating meaningful connections with both current and prospective clients. This role combines marketing, customer communication, and social media with the hands-on responsibilities of a Dog Care Attendant. While the safety and care of our dogs always comes first, this position plays an important role in increasing customer engagement, retention, and awareness of everything Bark Camp has to offer.
Primary Responsibilities
Marketing & Social Media
- Capture photos and videos of dogs throughout the day.
- Create and publish engaging social media content that reflects the Bark Camp brand.
- Plan and promote seasonal events, services, and special promotions.
- Organize and maintain a library of photos and videos for future marketing.
Client Engagement
- Follow up with families after temperament assessments.
- Reach out to clients who haven’t visited recently.
- Encourage recurring daycare reservations.
- Promote boarding, baths, spa services, and seasonal offerings.
- Send email newsletters and promotional communications.
- Encourage satisfied clients to leave online reviews.
- Build positive relationships with clients through timely, friendly communication.
Dog Care & Operations
- Continue performing all Dog Care Specialist responsibilities, including supervising dogs, driving shuttle, cleaning, feeding, administering medications as trained, assisting with baths, completing report cards, and helping with daily operations as needed.
Success in This Role
Success is measured by:
- Maintaining a consistent and engaging social media presence.
- Increasing client engagement and recurring reservations.
- Following up promptly with prospective and inactive clients.
- Supporting the growth of daycare, boarding, and additional services.
- Continuing to provide exceptional care for every dog while contributing positively to the daily operation of Bark Camp.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
