Bark Avenue Dog Grooming & Boarding is looking for an experienced dog groomer to join our team. We are focused on providing high-quality, detail-oriented grooming and exceptional customer service, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to continue growing in their craft.
Requirements:
* Previous professional dog grooming experience required
* Strong scissor finishing and breed-standard knowledge preferred
* Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
* Must communicate clearly and professionally with both clients and coworkers
* Reliability, cleanliness, and attention to detail are a must
* Must be coachable and willing to learn, adapt, and accept constructive criticism in order to maintain our high grooming standards
* Team-oriented attitude with a desire to improve continuously
What to Expect:
* Interview required before hiring
* Paid working interview required to demonstrate grooming quality, handling skills, efficiency, and professionalism
* Supportive team environment with high expectations for quality and consistency

* Pay is commission-based, with percentage depending on experience
* Groomers will be started at a manageable pace while learning our systems and standards, with schedules and client load increasing quickly as consistency, quality, and efficiency are demonstrated

Pay: $1,200.00 - $4,000.00 per month
