Responsibilities
- Operate packaging machinery, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to maximize productivity.
- Monitor machine performance throughout shifts, making adjustments as needed to maintain optimal operation.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and CGMP standards during all packaging processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs using hand tools to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
- Document production data accurately, including batch records, machine logs, and quality checks.
- Assist in the assembly of packaging components and materials as required for various product lines.
- Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts to move raw materials and finished goods efficiently within the facility.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with experience operating packaging or manufacturing machinery.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated equipment control systems.
- Basic understanding of FDA regulations and CGMP standards applicable to pharmaceutical or food manufacturing environments.
- Ability to use hand tools for routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery.
- Warehouse experience with forklift operation is preferred for material handling tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely.
