Job Purpose: Develop Category Analytics and Insights at the customer & corporate level to assist in driving sales for the category & Barilla.
This is a hybrid role based out of Northbrook, IL with an expectation to be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Pull data for category reviews and sell stories using data from various data platforms (POS, panel, shopper card, Numerator, etc).
2. Build, maintain, and run monthly reports for various customers.
3. Support Category Managers in preparing presentations and analysis to internal and external customers.
4. Support Sr. Category Manager with corporate-led initiatives and projects
5. Develop and present best-in-class planograms
6. Other duties as assigned
Education/Work Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent work experience
* 1 years of Sales/Sales Planning/Category Management experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry, with knowledge of Grocery/Mass/Club Channels and customers
* Demonstrated use of syndicated and consumer data (Nielsen/IRI) in the retail Consumer Packaged Goods environment
* Power BI experience a plus
* Planograming experience a plus
* Excellent computer skills including Outlook and MS Office; Excel use of wizard, charts/graphs, pivot tables, and formulas; PowerPoint experience creating charts & graphs.
* Ability to travel up to 5%
