Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with product selection and inquiries
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process transactions accurately and quickly
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and upselling opportunities
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized
- Handle stock replenishment, inventory management, and stocking duties to keep the sales floor inviting
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or taking orders
- Assist with cashiering duties, including cash handling, basic math calculations, and balancing registers at shift end
Requirements
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in grocery store environments
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual setting (English/Spanish or other languages)
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail or customer service setting
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and retail math principles
- Ability to deliver product demos confidently while emphasizing features and benefits to promote sales
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions
- Basic math skills for cash handling, transactions, and inventory counts
- Must Have Availability M-F 7am - 4:30pm Saturday 9am - 3pm
- Ability to lift and move products up to 50 lbs
