Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Host. As a Host, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant by assisting with various tasks and providing excellent guest service.
Duties:
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly and efficiently
- Assisting servers with delivering food and beverages to tables
- Refilling water glasses and providing additional condiments as needed
- Removing used dishes and silverware from tables
- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and dining areas
- Assisting with general cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant
- Assisting guests with any requests or inquiries they may have
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively assist servers and kitchen staff
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
