As a Bartender, you’ll guide guests through their dining and drinking experience with professionalism, warmth, and extensive beverage knowledge. You’ll craft high-quality cocktails, pour beer and wine, anticipate needs, and make every guest at the bar feel cared for. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Provide attentive, friendly, and professional service to bar guests throughout their visit.
- Order Management: Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests at the bar and input them into the POS system.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare, craft, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar guests and dining room service in a timely manner, adhering to standard recipes.
- Product Knowledge: Stay highly knowledgeable about cocktail offerings, spirits, wine, beer, and food menus to confidently answer guest questions and offer recommendations.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area throughout the shift, complying with all health and safety guidelines.
- Compliance: Diligently check guest identification to ensure they meet the minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption.
- Teamwork: Collaborate seamlessly with servers, bussers, kitchen staff, and managers to ensure smooth, efficient service.
Qualifications
- Prior bartending experience in a restaurant or bar setting strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to remain composed and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, beer, and wine (additional training provided).
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve and handle alcohol.
Physical Requirements
This role may involve standing and walking for extended periods, handling objects, reaching, and communicating effectively. It may also require lifting or moving up to 25–50 pounds (e.g., changing kegs or restocking liquor).
