Responsibilities
- Make deliveries in company van or box truck
- Unload materials at jobsites and carry into building
- Occasionally it will be required to work on site assisting installers as needed
- Stage equipment for installers and project managers by project number and location
- Keep the warehouse clean and presentable, breakdown boxes and empty trash
- Operate fork truck to move product or unload deliveries
- Track product shipments
- Assist with inventory
- UPS / FedEx materials as needed
- Palletize / crate material as needed for LTL shipping
- Assist project managers as required
- Follow-up on back ordered equipment
- Must be conscious of and follow all safety regulations
- Employee must pass all pre-employment background investigations and drug testing
- Employee must be capable of lifting in excess of 50 pounds, sitting for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders
- Employee must have a clean driving record
- Employee must have excellent interpretation skills and able to communicate with vendors, transportation delivery drivers, customers, managers and coworkers
- Employee must be able to work with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
- Must have reliable transportation
- Employee must be fluent in reading, writing, understanding and communicating in English
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Basic literacy skills are required for this position
- Basic computer literacy and experience are required for this position
- Employee must be friendly and courteous both internal and external customers
- Employee must be passionate about Extreme Customer Service®
- Employee must be willing to take on other assignments as directed
