Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, kava, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and the café environment
- Assist with food handling, serving food items, and food preparation to ensure quality and safety compliance
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining high standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge
- Familiarity with Square POS
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving standards
- Ability to perform basic math for sales transactions, retail math, and cash handling accurately
- Experience in food preparation, café operations, or retail math is highly desirable
- Assist coffee roaster with production / packaging and order picking
