Large-Scale Data Center Construction Projects | Multiple Positions | Immediate Openings
Position Summary
The On-Site Safety Professional will work directly in the field supporting construction operations and helping project teams maintain a safe, professional, and compliant workplace.
This is a hands-on field safety position. Successful candidates should be comfortable working around active construction operations, communicating with craft employees and supervision, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and providing practical solutions to help work proceed safely.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and hazard assessments.
- Identify unsafe conditions, behaviors, and developing hazards.
- Work directly with construction supervision and craft personnel to correct hazards.
- Participate in and/or conduct pre-task planning, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs/JSA), and safety meetings.
- Conduct toolbox talks and field safety training.
- Monitor compliance with applicable OSHA construction standards and project safety requirements.
- Evaluate fall protection, scaffolding, ladders, excavation, electrical, material handling, PPE, housekeeping, mobile equipment, and other construction activities.
- Assist with incident, near-miss, and property-damage investigations.
- Prepare clear and professional daily safety reports and documentation.
- Coach employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
- Participate in project orientations and safety initiatives.
- Maintain a professional presence when interacting with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and employees.
- Support a positive safety culture focused on hazard recognition, communication, and prevention.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- 1–3 years of construction experience preferred.
- Construction safety experience or a strong desire to develop a career in construction safety.
- OSHA 30-hour course
- OSHA 510 – Occupational Safety and Health Standards for the Construction Industry preferred.
Don't have OSHA 510 yet? Candidates with appropriate construction experience may still be considered. For qualified individuals, we may provide OSHA 510 training as part of their professional development.
- Ability to communicate effectively with construction workers and management.
- Ability to recognize common construction hazards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in an active construction environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to maintain professional conduct and appearance on client projects.
Preferred Qualifications
Priority consideration may be given to candidates possessing:
- OSHA 500 – Trainer Course in OSHA Standards for Construction
- Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO)
- First Aid/CPR/AED certification
- Previous experience on large commercial, industrial, mission-critical, semiconductor, manufacturing, or data center construction projects
- Experience conducting safety orientations and toolbox training
- Experience with incident investigations and written safety documentation

These positions support projects that may require extended travel. We provide substantial support for employees assigned away from home.
