Position Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and benefits administration. This role partners closely with leadership and employees to ensure a positive workplace culture and consistent HR practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support all core HR functions: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration
- Coordinate hiring process: job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling
- Lead new hire onboarding and orientation
- Maintain HRIS and employee records with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist with employee relations issues and workplace investigations
- Administer and support employee benefits and answer employee questions
- Track and support performance review processes
- Maintain and update employee handbook and HR policies
- Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives
- Assist with HR audits and reporting
- Partner with managers to support staffing and performance needs
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources (HR Generalist or similar role)
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of discretion handling confidential information
