Responsibilities & Duties
- Mentor all positions within their operational area to ensure high engagement and success.
- Maintain availability for the development of all managers.
- Support, reinforce, and align decisions with Barcelona Wine Bar’s unique culture.
- Assists their management team to ensure restaurants are delivering exceptional service.
- Train and manage career expectations for the management team.
- Analyze external and internal environments to detect where improvements may be made and how those changes should be implemented.
- Maintain full responsibility for financial performance directly impacting the area restaurant operations.
- Oversee the financial performance of their management teams.
- Perform financial analysis of individual restaurants and the region.
- Participate in employee meetings and training programs.
- Lead, motivate, and empower managers to higher levels of performance.
- Provide leadership & direction to the team in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Measure performance, objectively and subjectively, and hold direct accountability to meeting desired performance expectations.
- Commit to the highest standards of operational excellence – from BOH to bar to FOH.
- Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt to constant changes.
- Passion for exceptional hospitality and great food.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling heavy objects up to 50 lbs may be required.
- Kneel, bend or stoop, ascend or descend stairs; reach and grasp objects
- Flexible travel schedule
- Minimum 3-5 years overseeing at least 3 high-volume, full-service restaurants in different markets.
- Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance.
- Knowledge of Labor Laws and Compliance.
- Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Micros POS, etc.
