What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Mechanic position at Barbour's Towing & Truck Repair?
The primary responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance on our fleet trucks, maintaining vehicle records, filling out required documents for the truck repairs and replacements, and keeping a daily checklist. Some various obligations would include fixing hydraulic leaks, tire repair/replacement, welding and fabrication, electrical diagnostics and repair. The candidate must be familiar with the functionality of the PTO and hydraulics systems and be able to execute any repairs. A Fleet Mechanic has a fundamental role in finding ways to address all types of problems through having a good method to use when approaching a problem without being ineffective, favoring or causing painful consequences. A Fleet Mechanic must be able to diagnose and fix any problems caused by a failure of any kind and then confirm that the solution restores the process to an excellent working state.
A Fleet Mechanic needs to be innovative in setting the pace for the organization the policies and factors that determine the level of productivity of their enterprise against their competitors leading to the growth of the business and the income. A Fleet Mechanic should invest his time in planning and setting goals that stretch and initiate the growth of every employee, so that they can perform at their best, bringing in real benefit to their life and the business.
