Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Master to lead our team of talented stylists and barbers in delivering exceptional hair and grooming services. Responsibilities

• Perform advanced hair styling, coloring, and hair extension applications using techniques such as balayage, highlights, and custom color blending based on color theory principles.
• Deliver expert services in barbering, including straight razor shaves and precise haircuts tailored to each client’s preferences.
• Manage the salon’s daily operations using salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, process transactions, and maintain client records efficiently.
• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs, offering personalized recommendations, and upselling retail products such as hair care, nail care, makeup, and eyelash extensions.
• Lead by example in maintaining impeccable sanitation standards across all services—sterilizing tools, sanitizing workstations, and adhering to health regulations.
• Mentor junior stylists and team members through coaching sessions focused on technical skills like hair threading, nail care, makeup application, and retail sales strategies.
• Oversee store management duties including inventory control, retail math calculations for product ordering, and front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients and managing appointment flow.
• Stay current with industry trends by continuously enhancing skills in areas like hair coloring techniques, eyelash extensions, and advanced styling methods.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cosmetology or barbering with a strong portfolio demonstrating diverse skills in hair styling, coloring, extensions, and grooming.
• Certification in cosmetology or barbering from an accredited institution; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus.
• Extensive knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for scheduling and client management.
• Deep understanding of color theory to create customized looks that complement each client’s features.
• Proficiency with sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to connect with clients professionally while mentoring team members effectively.
• Strong retail sales acumen with experience upselling products like hair treatments, makeup items, nail supplies, and retail math skills for inventory management.
