Barberton Tree Service, Inc. is seeking a results-driven Director of Executive Operations with direct experience in the tree service, arboriculture, or similar field service industry.
This is a high-impact executive leadership role for someone who understands the demands of a crew-based, equipment-intensive, safety-critical operation and is capable of leading both strategically and hands-on.
As a strategic partner to the President, this role will drive alignment across operations, revenue growth, safety, and workforce performance.
This is not a desk-only role. You will be expected to actively engage in the field, in the shop, and alongside crews to maintain visibility, accountability, and leadership presence.

Responsibilities
- Oversee executive operations, reporting, and strategic initiatives
- Support field operations, crew performance, and scheduling alignment
- Review job costing, production efficiency, and operational performance
- Assist with sales accountability, estimating support, and revenue growth
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and workforce development
- Enforce safety standards and support compliance efforts
- Handle sensitive customer, employee, and operational matters professionally
- Represent the company in community and industry settings
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in tree service, arboriculture, or similar field service industry
- Hands-on experience working with crews, equipment, and jobsite operations
- Working knowledge of tree equipment (chippers, bucket trucks, lifts, etc.)
- Comfortable working around mechanical shop environments
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
- ISA Arborist Certification
- Experience in estimating or sales within the tree care industry
- Experience managing crews or multiple teams
- Background in municipal or commercial work
