Lead CNC Lathe Setup and Operations Machinist - Prototype Shop

• You thrive on precision and can take a complex drawing from setup to finished part.
• You’re comfortable shifting between CNC lathes and manual machines to keep throughput high.
• You take ownership—staging materials, organizing work, and requesting the right tooling to deliver quality on time.

• Set up and operate manual machines to support CNC production.
• Set up and run 2-axis CNC horizontal and VTL lathes; as needed, set up and run 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills.
• Organize, stage, and move materials for efficient workflow.
• Evaluate and requisition purchased tooling and supplies.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum four years of machine tool setup and operation in an ISO/AS/MIL STD prototype/job shop environment using complex documentation and verbal/written instructions.
• Overtime may be required.
• Day and night schedules available; night shift receives a 15% differential on base pay.

Hourly range: $35.00–$45.00. Night shift adds a 15% differential to base pay. The stated range reflects a good-faith estimate of the anticipated minimum and maximum base bonus. Final pay is based on your qualifications and may fall outside the range depending on the circumstances.
