Role Description
Barber Drywall, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to support payroll and accounts payable functions at our East Wareham, MA location. This role is ideal for college students, recent graduates, or entry-level candidates interested in gaining hands-on experience in construction accounting and compliance.
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for entering certified payroll for state and federal projects, entering vendor payables, and reviewing Accounts Payable summaries for accuracy. Additional duties include maintaining organized records, verifying supporting documentation, and assisting the administrative team with reporting and data validation.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
- Organized, dependable, and able to work independently
- Effective communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
- Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Exposure to payroll, accounts payable, or construction administration coursework
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 β 20.0 per week
