We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated paraprofessional to assist with the daily needs of a student with moderate disabilities. Responsibilities include providing support with personal care and hygiene in a respectful and safe manner, as well as helping the student participate fully in classroom activities.
Qualifications:
Experience working with children with disabilities preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold dignity
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Be able to pass the paraprofessional test, or have an Associate’s degree, or Two years of full time college credit.
Must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with school stakeholders, state and federal agencies and the general public.
