Lead Teacher

ONE-YEAR-OLD CLASSROOM!

Do you have a passion for working with young children? Do you love helping little ones learn, grow, and explore the world around them? We are looking for a loving, patient, dependable, and energetic Lead Teacher to join our childcare team!

✨ Position: Lead Teacher – One-Year-Old Classroom

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for children ages 12–24 months.
• Planning and implementing fun, age-appropriate learning activities.
• Creating weekly lesson plans that encourage learning through play, music, movement, and exploration.
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.
• Following proper diaper-changing, handwashing, and health and safety procedures.
• Communicating professionally with parents about their children’s daily activities and progress.
• Working closely with assistant teachers and providing classroom leadership.
• Maintaining accurate daily reports and classroom documentation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with infants and toddlers preferred.
• Early childhood education experience or training preferred.
• Must be patient, nurturing, dependable, and responsible.
• Must be able to work well with children, parents, and coworkers.
• Must meet applicable childcare licensing and background check requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain as required.
