Job Summary
The Resident Care Director (RCD) leads clinical care and daily nursing operations in a residential care setting. You’ll guide the care team, oversee resident care plans and documentation, and help ensure care is safe, respectful, and aligned with applicable regulations. Your impact: By coordinating consistent, person-centered care, you help residents maintain well-being and support families’ confidence in their loved ones’ care.
Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and support nursing staff
- Oversee resident assessments, care plans, medical records, and documentation review
- Monitor care quality and resident’s rights; maintain compliance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Coordinate with residents, families, providers, and care partners, including hospice, home health
- Use electronic medical record (EMR) and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
Skills
- Experienced CMA/L1MA with supervisory experience
- Experience in Residential Care Facility, experience in Mental Health
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, medical records, care plans
- Understanding of resident’s rights, HIPAA, and applicable long-term care regulations
- Ability to multitask
- Able to lead a team
- Experience with scheduling/staffing
Pay: $51,600.00 - $62,200.00 per year
