Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements, all while providing exceptional customer service. Must be willing to work holidays, weekends, etc.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and escort them to their tables.
- Manage the reservation system and ensure efficient seating arrangements.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Maintain an organized waiting list during busy periods, ensuring timely seating for guests.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, demonstrating excellent guest relations skills.
- Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host station and dining area.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred required.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast POS, OpenTable and Tripleseat is a plus.
- Excellent guest services skills to enhance guest relations and satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for providing outstanding hospitality in a restaurant.

Pay: $16.35 - $18.00 per hour
