Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong background in the food industry, particularly within nightclub or restaurant environments.
- Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Proven sales abilities to upsell drinks and promote specials effectively.
- Experience in catering services is a plus but not required.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
