  • Information Accuracy: Answer phone calls and respond to general email inquiries with professionalism and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Flexibility: Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall mission and operational goals of the Chamber.

3. Data Collection

  • Assist in tracking visitor statistics (e.g., where guests are visiting from) to help the Chamber improve future marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Local Enthusiast: A strong working knowledge of Bar Harbor, Mount Desert Island, and Acadia National park (or a high willingness to learn!).
  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Reliability: Punctuality is key, especially during the busy summer months when our visitors need us most.
  • Tech Basics: Comfort using a tablet or computer for basic sales and looking up information.

Physical Needs:

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position or move about the Visitor Center for shifts of 4-8 hours.
