BAR Automotive is conducting a search on behalf of an established automotive dealership in the Stanley, Wisconsin area.
We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager who can lead a collision repair operation, develop employees, maintain production standards and deliver consistent results.
This position requires someone who understands both the technical and business sides of collision repair.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily collision center operations, workflow and production.
- Lead and develop estimators, technicians and support personnel.
- Manage repair scheduling, technician assignments and work in process.
- Monitor repair cycle times, productivity, efficiency and profitability.
- Maintain relationships and communication with insurance companies and adjusters.
- Ensure accurate estimates, supplements, parts ordering and repair documentation.
- Establish quality control procedures and verify repairs meet applicable standards.
- Maintain consistent communication with guests regarding repair progress.
- Monitor departmental financial performance, expenses and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain a safe, organized and productive working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous collision center or body shop management experience.
- Strong knowledge of collision estimating, repair procedures and insurance processes.
- Experience managing production, technicians and repair timelines.
- Ability to read and manage departmental financial performance.
- Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with collision estimating and management software.
- Commitment to quality repairs, guest satisfaction and employee development.
