What are the responsibilities and job description for the Referral Coordinator-Podiatry position at Baptisthealth?
Under general direction, coordinates referral requests and communication of appointments using general clerical and customer service skills including, but not limited to, organizing requests from multiple locations, obtaining pre-authorizations, and communicating status of appointments.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:
- High school diploma preferred.
- Medical Office experience required. Familiar with CPT and ICD codes.
- Computer operation, basic business office skills, and telephone operation.
- High degree of accuracy in decision and workload required.
