Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
- Control access to the facility using access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures, including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events accurately and clearly.
- Perform background checks on new personnel as part of the onboarding process to ensure compliance with security regulations.
- Manage conflict de-escalation situations with professionalism while maintaining safety for all parties involved.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles; military background is a plus.
- Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and access control systems.
- Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use preferred; relevant training will be provided if necessary.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when required for patrol or emergency response activities.
- Strong communication skills for incident report writing and customer service interactions.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures, fire safety protocols, and compliance with security regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict management situations effectively while maintaining professionalism.
