Specialist-Revenue Cycle BOC

Overview

Job Summary

This position will serve as a liaison between the Revenue Cycle leadership and BOC teams. Performs workflow assessments and analyze internal business system to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization. Analyzes problems, recommends improvements and develops appropriate actions plans to promote transformation and optimization of the Epic system.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the subject matter expert in the optimization of Epic process flow as it relates to the revenue cycle.
• Responsible for processes and workflows within Epic with an emphasis on cost saving analysis to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of resources.
• Reports findings to the revenue cycle leadership, presents solutions to any inefficiencies in workflows, and implements these solutions throughout the Baptist system.
• Serves as the liaison on requests from the Revenue Cycle leadership to the BOC team to ensure proper workflow from each perspective as well as prioritizing and monitoring these projects.
• Provides input into training curriculum for staff as it relates to EPIC workflow.
• Ability to travel to all Baptist facilities within the system.
• Completes all other duties as assigned.

Experience

Minimum Required

• Ten (10) year of experience in software design in a healthcare setting, or a combination of experience and education to equal ten (10) years.

• Associates Degree in a related field of study

• EPIC Certification
