What are the responsibilities and job description for the Radiology Registered Technologist position at Baptist Memorial Health Care?
Performs radiological exams for diagnostic interpretation under the direction of the Director of Radiology and guidance of the Radiologists. Radiological exams include but are not limited to portable and C-arm exams. Patient population can be anywhere from neonates to geriatrics.
- Must be a graduate of an approved two-year program
- Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible; will obtain registry 3 - 6 months after hire date
- New graduates are eligible
- Must possess a current state license
- Must have current BLS
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate as a team
- Must be willing to cross train in CT and perform scans independently
- Must be available for holidays
- Alternating 12 hour days and weekends; 4/2/1 split (4 days on; 2 days off; 1 day on)
