Job Summary
This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Foundation’s Medicine Assistance Program. The coordinator will work directly with patients, pharmaceutical companies, and physician offices to complete applications for patient assistance. A knowledge of pharmaceuticals is helpful but not required. This position is also responsible for assisting with fundraising events for the Foundation.

Job Summary

The coordinator will work directly with patients, pharmaceutical companies, and physician offices to complete applications for patient assistance. A knowledge of pharmaceuticals is helpful but not required. This position is also responsible for assisting with fundraising events for the Foundation.
Job Responsibilities
- Works with patients, physicians, and pharmaceutical companies to collect needed documentation and submit to patient assistance programs.
- Maintains documentation of patients orders in Drug Assistant program.
- Serves as a resource to properly explain pharmaceutical programs as well as research to find help for patients.
- Assists patients with initiation of the application for Medicine Assistance Program.
- Expedites patient flow by working with population health and offering prompt and courteous service.
- Assists with planning and execution of Foundation fundraisers.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
