Job Summary

Baptist Orthopedics is hiring a Medical Assistant II for our Seven Pines office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM.
The experienced candidate will perform clinical support such as rooming patients, preparing x-rays, and assisting the providers.
Medical Assistant II, Job Responsibilities:
Provides medical assistance to physicians
Obtains vital signs
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
Maintains medical documentation
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
Processes prescription requests and referrals
Experience Requirements:
3-5 years Patient Care Experience
Experience in Physician's office
Education & Credential Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED Required
Associate of Arts/Science Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
Certified Medical Assistant Required
