Job Summary
Baptist Health is hiring a Coding Supervisor to join our Physician Coding team in Jacksonville, FL.
Coding Supervisor, Job Responsibilities:
- Assists the PB Coding Manager in effectively and efficiently supervising and coordinating the the day to day operations of the assigned coding team
- Effectively monitors and manages outstanding charges and coding denials while adhering to regulatory requirements
- Serves as a subject matter expert in codaing-related matters and collaborates on the preparation of written and verbal training materials to ensure consistent application of coding concepts
- Participates in developing and conducting education to staff and providers regarding coding and billing issues within assigned specialties.
Experience Requirements:
- 3-5 Years Coding Experience Required
- 1-2 years Leadership Experience Required
- 1-2 years Outpatient Coding Experience Required
- 1-2 years Medical Billing Experience Required
- Knowledge of regulatory protocols. Required
Education & Credential Requirements:
- High School Diploma Required
- CPC Certification or CCS-P Certification Required
