Summary
Job Description:
Supervisor-Food Services-Full-Time
- Evaluates, mentors, and counsels/coaches patient services employees as applicable and according to departmental policy.
- Monitors employee’s job performance. Works with staff to improve performance and behavior.
- Provides Leadership and guidance. Assists staff in achieving personal and departmental goals.
- Ensures proper staffing is scheduled and/or available to perform daily activities in areas of responsibility.
- Coordinates and oversees that daily and weekly activities/tasks are performed by staff in areas of responsibility.
- Updates and communicates job-flow changes of positions in areas of responsibility as applicable.
- Ensures that standardized recipes are followed.
- Directs and assists in preparation of food.
- Performs Quality Control checks on a consistent basis.
- Insures the appropriate display of cafeteria foods
- Ensures cashiers follow correct procedures.
- Requirements:
- High School /GED required.
- Some experience preferred.
