Baptist Health Medical Group is looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker for our Behavioral Health practice in Bardstown, KY.
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides clinical services to patients regarding their mental health needs. This includes psychosocial assessments and utilizing individual, family, and group therapies that meet the established standards of care. Develops patient treatment plans with patient/family participation and reassesses treatment plans appropriately. Part of a multidisciplinary team that provides clinical services in an outpatient setting.
Essential Functions:
- Assesses and diagnoses patients’ mental health issues by using the DSM-5 (Diagnostic and Statistical
Manual of Mental Disorders).
- Utilizes individual, family, and group therapies that meet the established standards of care.
- Develops patient treatment plans with patient/family participation and reassesses treatment plans
appropriately.
- Applies current theoretical approaches to the delivery of counseling services.
- Applies knowledge of strategies for examining, applying, and evaluating cognitive/behavioral therapy
concepts to assist in patient treatment.
- Collaborates with other providers to coordinate care.
- Participates in performance improvement activities and assists in interpretation of performance
improvement data.
- Participates in consultation, sets professional boundaries, maintains confidentiality, and adheres to ethical conduct.
- Adheres to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
- Maintains appropriate electronic health records regarding patient treatment.
- If qualified, may provide clinical supervision to CSW staff.
Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
- Master's degree in degree in social work from an accredited college or university required.
- Three to five years of health care or related social work experience is preferred.
- Current unrestricted LCSW license in the state/s of practice.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the clinical aspects of the mental health field.
