CT Tech | 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts | Full-Time & Part-Time
The CT Scan Department provides advanced diagnostic imaging services to support accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment. The department works collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams to perform high-quality computed tomography studies while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
The CT Technologist provides diagnostic imaging services using CT technology to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role is responsible for performing CT scans, image processing, and related procedures for interpretation by a licensed provider. The CT Technologist applies professional judgment, upholds high ethical standards, and adapts to varying patient conditions to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs CT procedures utilizing pulsed x-ray energy to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment
- Conducts image acquisition, processing, and post-processing to produce high-quality images for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner
- Exercises professional judgment in the delivery of care while maintaining a demeanor consistent with medical ethics and patient-centered service
- Assesses and responds to varying patient conditions to provide appropriate care and ensure successful completion of examinations and procedures
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in radiologic technology
- Current American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry
- Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
- Advanced ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography required within one (1) year of hire
- 3 Years of related experience
- Current BLS Certification
