What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech Student PRN position at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville?
Job Summary:
Assists Ultrasound technologist with various tasks that require independent judgment. Ultrasound student technologist may scan/ image patients under the supervision of a registered Ultrasound technologist.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- BLS required
- Must be currently enrolled as a Sonography student and in good academic standing while working toward completion of an approved Sonography program
- Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Sonography obtained upon program completion
- Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible at program completion
Location: Hospital · Ultrasound
Schedule: PRN, 2nd Shift
